From humble beginnings in the Australian countryside to a move into the city and then the other side of the world, I&EG Co. was built over many years, locations and a resounding passion for art.

The brand name Ink & Elbow Grease was developed by our owner/creative director, Kal Greasley as both a play on his surname as well as the way we go about our business.

Kal is many things, a musician, a designer, an explorer, but above all else he’s a creative. Growing up in the small town of Clarkefield, Australia, Kal always had a passion for illustration. This passion later led him into a career in the graphic design & advertising industry. His career has spanned over more than a decade ranging from advertising layouts and photo retouching to his now refined branding and custom illustration process.

He now travels the world as I&EG Co, exploring new destinations in both his life and his work.
